Who we are

Terre Verte Painting connects painters with historic European locations for painting workshops and experiences. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website at terrevertepainting.com.

What we collect

  • Application and contact form information: When you apply to work with us or contact us, we collect your email address, name, the information provided in the form and any message you choose to share.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and name (if provided in your email) for the sole purpose of sending you our newsletter.

  • Analytics data: If you accept cookies, we use Squarespace and Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general location (country level). IP addresses are anonymised.

  • Technical data: Our hosting provider may log standard server information (browser type, operating system) for security purposes.

How we use your data

  • To notify you when our platform launches.

  • To send you our newsletter with updates on new painting experiences and journal stories (only if you have subscribed).

  • To understand how visitors use our site and improve the experience.

  • To respond to messages you send us.

Newsletter & consent

We only send our newsletter to people who have explicitly opted in by subscribing. We will never share, sell, or rent your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email with "unsubscribe", or by emailing us at hello@terrevertepainting.com. On request, we will permanently delete your email from our subscriber list.

Cookies

We only set analytics cookies if you click "Accept All" on our cookie consent banner. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Analytics data is processed by Squarespace (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544167-Squarespace-Analytics) and Google under its privacy policy.

Data retention

  • Application Form data is retained until our platform launches and you create an account, or until you request deletion.

  • Newsletter subscriber emails are retained for as long as you remain subscribed, and are deleted promptly after you unsubscribe or request removal.

  • Analytics data is retained by Squarespace as long as this website exists and for 14 months for Google Analytics as per its defaults.
